ZooToo and The Parking Guru

ZooToo made a welcome and joyous and noisy visit to DAWS on April 10th and as the volunteer directing parking, let me tell you it was a wild ride! Frankly it could not have been done without the help of our neighbors, both commercial and home owners, and the help of our local police (and then some!). Bethel poice detailed one officer, joined later by a second, then our animal control officer and finally the ACO from Ridgefield. We parked well over 200 vehicles of all sorts, ranging from media, to vips, to DAWS board members, and most importantly the public. Thanks too to the many DAWS volunteers who hoofed it in from the South Street parking lot. It really helped. We even handled school busses! A lot of sweat and well worth the effort.
