I feel bad for you that no one seems to want to answer. The reason some shelters are doing better than others is just publicity. I'm supporting the Liberty County Humane Shelter in Hinesville, Georgia. I do not have TV, but I have the Internet. I watch the local news online daily and there was a news story this week about this contest. Perhaps you could contact your local news and radio stations and get the word out! The only problem with this contest right now is that you have to get people to sign up and be active on Zootoo.com (that isn't really a problem, it's just that people are usually lazy.) However, if you make it through to the top 10, then you really have to get the word out in April to get as many votes as possible. Best of luck to all of the shelters!! I hope this contest generates buzz and donations for every single shelter involved in this contest. They all certainly deserve it.
