Wow!

OK. I have basically been in shock since getting the news from Orlando that we are in the top three in the shelter makeover contest! I've practically been on the phone and computer ever since. People have been stopping me in the halls of the hospital to offer their congratulations and best wishes. I am very anxious about Wednesday in New York, but like all of us have always said, no matter what the final outcome, we have won already. Community support continues and I think a lot of people will be on the edge of their seats until Wednesday. We have people "waiting in the wings", so to speak, in case we are the makeover winners. I have an architect standing by and I know the unions have offered their services for construction, etc. This is simply amazing. The mood/morale at the shelter has been great as well. Everyone please keep your fingers crossed, pray, or whatever else you think will help and wish the HSOV good luck on Wednesday when the makeover winner is announced!

I wish you the best of luck! I am so excited for all three of the shelter makeover finalists! Have a great time in New York! We'll all be waiting and watching!

Best of luck to ya! All the shelters are winners from the contest, raising awareness on the plight of the abandoned and abused animals, some receiving monetary donastions from ZooToo as well as the public and offers of volunteer help. All have been rewarded from the experience and all should be proud!
