What a disaster (shelter, that is)

If you remember with Katrina, many families wouldn't leave their homes because they couldn't take their pets with them. And many families abandoned their pets, never to be seen again. We would like West Plains Animal Shelter to be the shelter for the area that can take care of animals in times of disaster, be it a tornado or family crisis. West Plains has been hit numerous times in the last year with tornadoes. It would be nice for the area to have a safe haven for animals, while their families may be dealing with the loss of their home, property, or loved ones. A little extra funding would make this dream a reality.
