What an absolute heart-warming thrill it was to have ZooToo visit DAWS today! I'm so glad you all got to see how much our community supports DAWS and all the work they do - not just in the shelter itself, but DAWS' TNR (Trap/Neuter/Release) program as well as SATO (rescuing street dogs) program. I am glad ZooToo also had a chance to see our shelter and our much-needed help with updates. As a volunteer as well as an adoptee of 2 TNR cats from DAWS, I cannot stress enough how much DAWS means to our community! Being that we ended up in 8th place and we only started 5 weeks ago, that has to show you how much our community pulled out the stops to show ZooToo how much we all love DAWS! Thank you, Richard, for the awareness you are bringing out in all communities about helping and adopting from your local shelters! Please run this contest every year, so every shelter gets a chance to have you and ZooToo visit!
