I do animal rescue and volunteer with Mostly Mutts, a no-kill dog shelter in our area. We have 100 dogs onsite, with others in foster care and we even have a waiting list of owners who want to give us their dogs. Stray animals are also a major factor with our rescue. The dogs at our shelter are very happy and receive lots of TLC everyday. The owner of our shelter is Cheryl Hill. She started the shelter and all expenses are paid by her. We volunteers, do fundraising to help defray the tremendous costs of food, heat, air conditioning, medications, etc. We have a very good success rate with adoptions. We want to find "forever homes" for their wonderful creatures. If they never find a home, they will live at the shelter.Our shelter could REALLY use a makeover.
