Stray Rescue = Lifesavers

Stray Rescue is a group of lifesavers. They hold many events to raise awareness and find people to adopt and foster dogs and cats. I adopted a puppy from them in Feb 2007 and he is an enormous blessing to my life. I want to help Stray Rescue so others can be blessed like I was by one of their miraculous gifts of life. I don't have much extra cash right now with the price of gas and everything else going up, so starting this week I'm volunteering 3 hours a week at their 18th St shelter to walk/play with dogs and help with cleanup. I found it hard to think about volunteering at my local humane society, knowing that they euthanize so many animals. But I look forward to helping out at Stray Rescue, knowing they are a no-kill shelter!
