Our trip ends in Florida... But not our journey

We did not make the top three, so we will not be going to New York for the winners announcement. But we go home not defeated but with renewed excitement about our shelter, our mission and ourselves. Our little shelter accomplished much to get this far in the contest, but we acceived so much more... More public awareness, more people volunteering, more donations of services as well as money. We are connecting with more shelters and rescue groups than ever. The momentum has started we are gonna keep on pushing. I've said befoe we are a world class shelter and now more people than ever know it. I would again like to thank everyone who helped get us here. Whether old timer or newcomer all are welcome and needed. So buckle up and get ready for the next ride, we've got places to go and peple to see. And we're not slowing down!
