Wow, I can't believe its actually going to happen, Stray Rescue is going to get the new building! It's all happening so fast! This whole thing is just amazing. I know the new building still won't be big enough to help all the dogs that need help, but what a great start to helping even more. Stray Rescue does such a great job with what they have already, I can't even imagine how much greater it will be with more space! Its going to be quite a ride from now until the finished product, the new building, but I can't wait for it to get started! If there was ever a group that deserved this, its Stray Rescue!

The prospect--rather, reality--of a new building must be exciting. When you state, "...the new building still won't be big enough to help all the dogs that need help...", are you referring to dogs needing help in the St. Louis area OR literally "all dogs that need help"? Obviously, the new building can't be expected to help ALL dogs, but I would expect it to be more than adequate to handle stray dogs in St. Louis (and even the immediate surrounding areas). If there is a great need for a very large building, the "up to" $1 million make-over should become the FULL $1 million.

hey there, I think Tara means because St. Louis has aprox. 40,000 street dogs and they just don't make a building big enough or manpower to handle this epedimic here. But we will still kicksome butt and save many more lives:)))
