Midwest Rabbit Rescue, a small shelter with a big heart

I feel so proud to be part of Midwest Rabbit Rescue, and extremely grateful for the support we've gotten from all over the country. Thousands of people have helped the bunnies not only make it into the top 20, but all the way to #6! That's amazing for small organization that's only been in existence for 2 1/2 years. We are very lucky!
If Midwest were to win the grand prize of a million dollar makeover, it would do more than just give us a great facility for our own rabbits. It would help rescued rabbits everywhere, by bringing them much needed public attention, and by raising awareness of rabbit overpopulation and homelessness. This would result in better services for rabbits, and would move us further towards our goal of one day not needing a rescue for rabbits, because every rabbit will be loved, wanted, and cared for.
