Lions, Tigers, and Bunnies; OH MY! 4/24/08 Visit # 14

WOW Debbie is a spark!! She has competed with all the dog and cat lovers in this country and has rounded up rabbit and bunny lovers across America to help support the Midwest Rabbit Rescue. She led her community of Plymouth, Michigan to number 6 out of 1,000 competing shelters. What an accomplishment, Debbie!
This morning we met at a local park in Plymouth. The community was already there waiting to cheer and wave their signs. The street was even blocked off for us and for a HUGE pink bunny float that the shelter used in parades. Along with the pink bunny float, the crowd, from babies to grandparents, was wearing bunny ears to show their support! (The grand-dads were a bit shy with the bunny ears.) There was also music playing in the background from a local high school band called “The Cottontails.” They played along with the event. After I awarded the shelter, the shelter awarded me… I got a Topcat Bunny Hat that I was proud to wear the whole morning. Watch for photos!
After speeches, congratulations, and meeting with local town officials we departed for bunny central. As we went into the shelter we saw that they housed and cared for approximately 130 domestic rabbits and bunnies. The Midwest Rabbit Rescue is one of the only indoor rescues in the country. They love all types of bunnies…white ones with red eyes, big and small, brown ones, and angoras. They also house couples, “lovers,” together and they stay together and never part.
At the end of the day, I would say the people that help rabbits and bunnies are educating not only the public but the veterinarians about the lifestyle, care, and needs of rabbits. They really know their stuff!
What a sight, it was bunny fever! Midwest Rabbit Rescue has such a big heart. You guys have done a wonderful job!
I can't forget to mention the amazing gourmet meal Debbie had donated by a local restaurant. It was a vegan, pasta dish; in honor of HSUS's President Wayne Pacelle. The Zootoo Crew thought it was DELICIOUS!
If you want to know more about rabbits and bunnies as pets, the Midwest Rabbit Rescue and Debbie would love to hear from you!

I'm so pleased that Midwest ranked so hi in the ZooToo contest! Rabbits across the country in shelters don't get the regard or care that true rabbit shelter can provide. Midwest is very deserving of the recognition and the aid that will go to help the shelter be even better. I volunteer at a Humane Society shelter in WA state, and the rabbits don't get the funding that the cats/dogs do----even though they are such a popular companion pet. I hope more shelters will provide adequate care for rabbits, as this kind of publicity will help get the word out. Congratulations to Midwest and all of the rabbit-angel volunteers!!

Bunnies rule! All my buns are rooting for Midwest to win the MILLION. Regular shelters generallyl do a terrible job with bunnies, so it's incredibly important to have the all-rabbit shelters like Midwest. Rabbits are the third most abandoned pet, but unless there's a pure rabbit shelter or rescue group among the winners, rabbits get no real representation. Thank goodness Midwest made it to the top 20. Because of the failure of regular shelters to provide adequate shelter for rabbits, it is very important that Midwest at least win the second prize ($10,000).

Hats off to the small rabbit shelter. I adopted my rabbit, Ziggy, 13 years agao from the San Diego Chapter of the House Rabbit Society. They are often misunderstood and neglected. But the Zigman is still going strong at 13 1/2 and that is amazing. The more education regarding these pets the better unerstood they will be.

The videoclip was great! I'd been waiting to see it!
It was nice to finally get to see Midwest Rabbitry up close, and all the cute bunnies ofcourse!
It really shows how much they need the make-over! The bunnies need a lot more space to run around and excersize, their cages are so small... A playground/excersize room would be nice! And restrooms for the volunteers, ofcourse, a prep room, an "isolation ward" for sick rabbits, heck, a whole clinic for spay and nueter would be welcome too!
I really hope they win that make-over!
Good luck, Midwest!

I learned so much about rabbits in that short video clip of the ZooToo site visit to the Midwest Rabbit Rescue. Wow! You guys are doing an amazing job helping the third most abandoned pet in the country. I have all the best wishes for you in this ZooToo contest for the million dollar makeover. At the VERY least, I hope you will get restroom facilities on-site for all of the dedicated volunteers at Midwest!

I am supporting Midwest, and it is wonderful that they are a shelter specifically for rabbits. People need to be more educated about rabbits, for very few people know how many there are and how few of them get homes.

Thanks to Richard and Zootoo for getting involved in the visit to Midwest Rabbit Rescue (the Bunny Ears were very cute).
Midwest does such an awesome job not only in rehoming many unwanted rabbits, but also educating people in the resposibilties involved in caring for them. It is rare to find a shelter dedicated to just rabbits. Very often they have to share facilities with other animals, which can be even more stressful for them.
Well done, Midwest. Bunny lovers from far and wide respect you!

Let's not stop here. We should all make a concerted effort to never buy products that experiment on animals. Rabbits are one of the corporations favorites to brutalize!!!

Thank you Richard and ZOOTOO for visiting Midwest Rabbit Rescue.
Rabbit owners from all over have united and supported Midwest as the one shelter to represent Rabbits in need.
We need places like Midwest to help and educate people about bunnies.
And we really need Midwest to continue to rescue and find homes for homeless bunnies.
I am from Canada with two rabbits and a dog living in our household.
We all hope Midwest could win the top prize as this could be a truly international event.

I'm so glad Midwest is a part of this! I really think rabbits need more exposure so that they can be better understood and saved from ignorant hands!

It's always good to have a great rescue shelter like Midwest to ask questions about the proper care of bunnies. When we first adopted Joy we never knew about having a house rabbit. We even bought the wrong pellets with added treats and seeds that were bad for her. So wish companies would stop making and Petstores stop selling products promoted for use with rabbits that are unhealthy. Glad we found out what was best for our sweet bunny Joy and her bunmate Love.

Midwest has a hard task of adapting the rescue framework to a type of animal that's very different from normal. Dogs and cats don't often bond for life, whereas for rabbits that's the rule. There is a lot you need to know in order to take good care of a rabbit, so potential adopters have to get a lot of information and follow-up to make sure the bunnies are being taken care of. Rabbits really need fresh greens and hay everyday in addition to pelleted food; dogs and cats will live just fine on a single dry food. Finally, since rabbits are an "exotic" pet species, EVERYTHING at the vet's costs more! I'm proud to support Midwest, and I wish I could have been there for the event! It sounds like a lot of fun!

Thank you so much ZOOTOO for visiting Midwest Rabbit Rescue. Midwest is not only a great rescue that does wonderful things for rabbits without homes but they also are wonderful educators about rabbits. When I got my second rabbit last year, I called them with some questions and they were so incredibly helpful to me. I was sorry that I could not get off work to attend last Thursday but I just want you to know that there are many rabbit owners that couldn't be in attendance that applaud Midwest's efforts and are so thankful they are around to help out rabbits everywhere.

So true, Kirstin! Midwest's immediate community may be small, but they have supporters all over the country, and even abroad! I too wish I could have been there to meet and greet Zootoo, but I live in California, so that was out of the question.
I really hope Midwest's success will bring awareness about the needs of house rabbits to the general public.

I think Mid west does a wonderful thing. I own one rabbit and 2 dogs and my family was never complete tell chevy came around. I will help med west in any way I can.
If it means getting points or driving from houston TX to help I will. Thanks for saving so many lives and giving people a family member. Thank you zoo too and MWRR

Thanks you midwest for representing all bunnies everywhere! and i know theres alot you can do for bunnys with the money! good luck!

On behalf of bunnies and bunny lovers nationwide, I'd like to thank the Zootoo team for their visit to and kind words about Midwest Rabbit Rescue and Rehome. Rabbits are the third most surrendered animal at shelters, and rabbits are widely misunderstood even by shelter professionals. As a rabbit rescuer who volunteers for The Rabbit Haven in Scotts Valley, California, I am grateful to Zootoo for letting people around the country know about the plight of shelter rabbits, and about wonderful people like those at Midwest that try to make a difference in their lives.

Richard,
First of all, I would like to say thank you from the bottom of my heart for bringing more attention to the plight of the abandoned bunnies across America. April 24th was a wonderful day and I was proud to be part of the celebration!!

At Midwest, we pride ourselves on the loving care we provide to our bunnies and through this contest we have learned that our community of supporters reaches farther and wider than many of us knew it could. We have come together as one voice for the bunny rabbit's plight in this world. We were able to accomplish a huge dream of getting into the TOP20! We were very proud to show you our humble shelter and our beautiful bunnies. We were very proud to tell you about our wonderful volunteers who have been working non-stop preparing for your visit!!! We were very proud to share with you our philosphy and mission to save as many bunnies as we can and educate as many people as we can! Our co-founders say "People helping bunnies, helping people" is what we do best!!! We will continue to work hard and do our best! We hope that our motto "A-Bunny-A-Day" will materialize and it very possibly will with all the new publicity your zootoo contest has awarded us!!!

Thank you very much for stopping by our shelter and giving our hardworking volunteers that "pat on the back" that they so deserve! If you ever decide that you'd like the loving companionship of a bunny - you know where to find us!! ;-)

Thanks so much for the visit, and for giving bunnies the "spotlight"....They are such wonderful pets, but there is so much that needs to be known about how to take care of them properly, and what makes an appropriate owner. You guys rock! Bunnies need a voice, and Midwest has provided that voice!

Thank you Richard and zootoo for stopping at Midwest for the day. What excitement for us to have you visit our little shelter,,you have put us on the map...we have been online across the united states helping rabbits around the world, but you have given us more publicity. For us to come in at number 6 shows everyone what a strong force us rabbit rescuers are, and we get stronger everyday.
Remember: adopt,don't shop

Richard-
Thank you so much for coming out to see Midwest Rabbit Rescue & Rehome. It was truly a pleasure to get to meet you and talk to you about our bunnies and our procedures.

Zootoo has brought a significant amount of exposure to our little rescue, and we received support from bunny lovers all over the United States! Hopefully this will raise awareness of rabbits as pets, and their needs since they are the third most popular pet. It would also be nice to see the manufacturers of animal products make more bunny toys!! It's so hard to find any in stores right now, and my bunnies love a variety!

We have a wonderful and dedicated group of volunteers. They all care so much about the bunnies, and it shows! The shelter could not survive without their dedication and love. The shelter is a great place to go when you need a break from the world, from the very young to the elderly it helps people in many different ways. Hence, Dominique's phrase "Helping bunnies helping people".

Again, thank you for coming out, it was an enjoyable day for all!

Carol

I would like to add a further comment to my previous journal entry.

I am hoping that the tremendous support that Midwest received will serve as a message to pet product manufacturers. Rabbit slaves want to buy high quality products for their companions. Currently, there is not a lot to choose from. There are a very few...Oxbow, American Pet Diner, Busy Bunny (to name a few of my personal favorites). There is a tremendous marketplace for you....take advantage of it.

Please give us the variety of high quality products we crave!

So many of the products sold at the big box pet stores are marketed to the rabbit caretaker without consideration of the needs of the rabbit. Pellet "deluxe" mixes that contain seeds and dried fruits, mineral blocks, wire bottomed cages, additives for bunny's water so she doesn't smell, and on and on. Some of these items are downright dangerous, and contribute to premature health problems that lead people to think bunnies only live a few years.

Some companies like American Pet Diner, Oxbow and Busy Bunny are trying to produce higher quality products that maintain the health of house rabbits. I really wish that all of the companies would invest more in developing appropriate foods and toys for house rabbits. I am fortunate to live near For Other Living Things, which is a small pet supply store that stocks the best pellets, hays, litters and toys. Some people do not have that option, and have to order their bunny supplies on the internet.

Patti, you are so right! We have to drive to 2 or 3 stores about 20 min. away just to purchase hay and food - IF THEY HAVE IT! I'm going to start purchasing it online so that I know I'll get it!

If I want toys, I end up going to Indianapolis about 40 min. away to a bird store. Then it's not very much to pick from. I do get a few things through local petstores and I am constantly looking at baby departments for things that look like a bunny might enjoy them.

We use WoodyPet for their litterboxes and it's a 40 minute trip to the closest location that sells that now also! I tried Equine fresh and there's something in it that makes my hubby sneeze. I think it's dustier or something.

Honestly, I think it's easier to find stuff for reptiles than for bunnies! and bunnies have such huge personalities and play a lot!

Amen! It can be hard to find the quality products that we need. There are three pet stores in town and only one carries a good brand of rabbit pellets- Oxbow. And it's the store I'd rather not buy from because of how they care for their animals. But that's what my sensitive-stomach bunny needs or she gets sick, and she comes first. I would love to be able to find better toys in pet stores too. I think I buy more from the bird and cat sections in pet stores than the rabbit/small animal stuff! Not to mention craft stores and baby toys. I also order toys online from vendors like Busy Bunny and Bunny Bytes, and I know a lot of other people do too. Rabbits are intelligent and they need fun, interesting toys. Not the same old blah chew sticks.

I think a lot of companies would be surprised what people actually buy (and how much we spend!) for rabbits if they actually asked us. I wish finding good stuff to spoil my rabbits with was as easy as it is finding stuff for my cats.

I definitely agree! I know bunny people all across the US are just waiting for our pet stores and pet product manufacturers to catch up with the rest of us on rabbit health! So many companies could make a killing by marketing healthy food and safe toys for our bunnies. I have to order my hay and bunny toys online and for my rabbit pellets my local store has to special order them for me! With 3 major pet stores within 10 miles of my home I cannot find healthy foods and safe bunny toys. It is my hope that with increased exposure and education about rabbit care the manufacurers will start to provide us with more healthy foods, treats, and toys for our pet bunnies!

Richard:

It wasn't me...is was all the bunnies ALL OVER the US! We represent buns nationwide. Our bunny following OnLine is INCREDIBLE!! Like I said the other day, we are all just one person to the world...but we are making a world of difference for ALL RABBITS! We truly are the underdog (I mean rabbit!).

Many thanks to Chris Lynn (Plymouth Commissioner) who arranged that very tasty vegan lunch. He truly has been the most supportive business person in Plymouth.

Thank you so much for starting zootoo and giving us a voice! Our goal to adopt A-BUNNY-A-DAY is closer than we ever thought! Thank you again to you and your incredible team.

Of course it's going to happen! People are learning how adorable they are! and how much they make us laugh! I think that's a huge reason why I love mine so much! Every single day, one of my three does something (at least one) that makes me laugh out loud! It might be Tony trying to fit his big bunny butt into a fridge case pop box or it might be Clover thumping at me for interupting her breakfast - Such attitude!

You're doing a great job of educating and rehoming! That's the key to a great rescue! I'm proud to be a friend of MWRR! *hug*

RABBITS ROCK! The folks that live in Rabbitdom indeed are a tight knit community and are strong advocates for our long eared friends. How good it is to see a rabbit rescue be successful and to be part of it. ==>:+}

Thank you so much for your visit to Midwest. Although I am in SW Texas, like many others all across the nation, I worked hard (mostly giving helpfulness points) to help them place in this contest. It is so wonderful to support an organization that works so hard to help rabbits. So few people realize that rabbits are the third largest group of pets that are surrendered to shelters and that is if they're lucky enough to not get dropped off in the wild.

What many people don't realize is that rabbits can coexist rather well in a home with dogs and cats. Many times they can become good friends and enjoy grooming each other or sleeping together.

Here are some links to a video and 2 slideshows of rabbits and cats here in our home...perhaps it will help people see that rabbits can get along with others.

In the first slideshow, Zeus, the white flemish giant mix rabbit has to share his litterbox with Faith, a kitten. We got Zeus from a rabbit rescue just a couple of months ago and he has settled in so well and lives at peace with our cats and dog.

Enjoy.

Thanks Patti. I was just thinking about the fact that in the video (the last link) - Mitzi was 5 years old and Drew was 4 1/2 months old....yet they still were able to get along. I only wish my house had looked better!

But rabbits and cats (and dogs too) can live together in harmony and sometimes even be close friends!

Dear Richard,

We loved visiting with you and the rest of the Zootoo Crew yesterday! Thank you so much for coming to our rescue, and helping us bring our community together in support of the rabbits. The fact that we made it to #6 out of a thousand rescues nationwide, is due to the amazing support we received both locally and nationally. As Haley mentioned, rabbit people are a tight knit community - we may be thousands of miles away from each other, but thanks to the internet we all know each other and work together for the betterment of the rabbits! We received support from rabbit groups from all across the country, from Florida to Vermont, from New York to California. We speak with one voice for the voiceless rabbits neglected in sheds, basements, garages, and back yard hutches; set loose in the woods to die from exposure, predators or disease; on death row in shelters. We speak for lab rabbits, rabbits bred for meat and fur, rabbits fed to snakes, and rabbits used to train dogs. Thanks to Zootoo, we lift our voices with the animal lovers of this nation to put an end, once and for all, to the neglect and exploitation of all animals. Together we will make real change!! Thank you Richard and Zootoo!

I could not have expressed this better Jill. My skin crawls when I think of how little many think of rabbits as if they are unfeeling dumb pieces of trash to breed and abuse and toss out like yesterdays garbage.

My faithful "meat" breed rabbit snuggles with me to give me comfort, guards over me at night, joyfully performs tricks just because I ask, gives me endless amusement watching her jump and twist in the air, and asks only for a few scritches in return.

I had a French lop when I was younger named Bear. He was the sweetest creature and loved unconditionally. I found him a happy home with another family when I couldn't take him to college. I will never understand why people take pet ownership so lightly that they can just discard an animal after it "doesn't work out." I applaud your efforts with the midwest rabbit shelter and hope that more people will realize that pet ownership is an honor and a commitment one makes to care for another living creature. Keep up the great work!

Oh, I wish I could have been there. I am a big fan of Midwest, even though I'm all the way down here in Philadelphia. I know they need this money so badly - so many little bunny lives can be saved with that money. Rabbit folk are really great - they mobilize and work together for bunnies in need. There isn't really a comparable network to the rabbit lovers that regularly work together to save lives across the country. It is phenomenal. And Zootoo kind of made it public, by causing the rabbit supporters to join forces and rocket Midwest to #6.

Thank you so much Richard for coming to our humble little shelter yesterday. It was such a beautiful day. You are doing a wonderful thing helping to raise awareness for shelters all over the country-for cats and dogs and rabbits and all other animals who so desperately need a voice to speak for them.

Zootoo has really helped bring a lot of attention to Midwest Rabbit Rescue and the rabbit community nationally. The turnout yesterday was only a mere fraction of the national support for Zootoo and Midwest from the rabbit community. We had people in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas, New York, Indiana, Illinois and California signing up for Midwest and recruiting other animal lovers to join on our behalf. This was really a national effort on the part of the rabbit community who often are overlooked or forgotten among the larger cat/dog rescues.

Thank you again for helping our shelter raise awareness for the rabbits. As the third most popular pet in America, domestic rabbits are being set free, surrendered and euthanized at alarming rates in the U.S.. All of us across the U.S. with rabbits who share our homes thank you for your support in our efforts to educate people on these wonderfully social and loving companions.

Thank you so much, Haley, for bringing the Zootoo makeover contest to rabbitsonline.net. Participating in making Midwest the #6 shelter in the nation was an experience I will always look back fondly on. Having our rabbit community work together to achieve a common goal was definately a great bonding experience.

I live in upstate NY so was unable to attend, but so happy that this wonderful shelter is being recognized by Zootoo for the heroic work it does. If Zootoo awarded Midwest the million dollar makeover, Zootoo would be making a huge statement in support of rabbits, who are the third most popular pet in America but do not have the degree of rescue/shelter assistance that cats and dogs do. Zootoo would also be making a huge statement in support of no kill shelters. Go Zootoo, and go Midwest Rabbit and Rehome!

Thank you Richard Thompson and Zootoo for giving Midwest this amazing opportunity! Even though I live in Florida, I have been a long time supporter of Midwest and am proud to have played a part in their Top 20 success.

The volunteers at Midwest are such a dedicated and hard-working group of people. In fact, their passion and devotion are what inspired me to begin volunteering with the rabbits at my local humane society.

Winning this contest would be a dream come true for Midwest. Having the proper facilities would enable them to save the lives of more rabbits and house them in less cramped conditions. It would give the volunteers a bathroom too, so they wouldn't have to walk down the block. I'd be willing to bet they are the only shelter in the Top 20 without a bathroom!

Having this tiny rescue finish not only in the Top 20, but at an impressive #6, was not by any means just "lucky". It was thousands of voices across the nation drawing attention to the problem of rabbit overpopulation and homelessness. The national support that Midwest achieved was a powerful demonstration of the strength of the rabbit community and their desire to give rabbits a better life. Winning this contest would not only help Midwest, but would be a victory for rabbits everywhere.

I'm looking forward to hearing Midwest announced as one of the three finalists in Orlando. See you there!!

I am so glad you were able to visit Midwest. I am from Chicago and could not get off from work to be present, but am an avid supporter of Midwest. They take rabbits from all over. Their community is so much larger than the support they get in their local community. Their community is nation wide as they are one of the few shelters in the nation for rabbits.

So many rabbits in shelters are around age 5 months to a year old and not altered. So many people get rabbits with no understanding of the short teenager months and how altering the rabbit, training and giving it a couple of months to mature changes the landscape. Instead, out the rabbit goes.

I never imagined I would have a pet rabbit, but wound up with my first when I found one wandering the neighborhood just before the cold Chicago winter set it. I thought I would take it in, vet it and find it a new home. Little did I know how many "dumped" rabbits there are and how few homes and no kill shelters have any room for rabbits. The numbers of rabbits are too overwhelming and the resources to care for them in most shelters are limited.

I am so proud of the work Midwest is doing for animals that are smart, loving, loyal, and wonderful. Mine does tricks, comes when called, snuggles with me when I feel down, and guards me at night, lying on a blanket in the corner of my room...her choice as she has free roam of most of the house. She is nondestructive and of course litter trained. Just got to keep the electrical wire vines out of reach.

I just adopted my second rabbit and we are in process of bonding sessions. I have had dogs and cats, I have parrots, and other pets, but my rabbits have a special place in my heart.

Go Go Midwest! Thousands of rabbits nationwide are thumping for you!!!

I'm so happy everyone had such a great time today! I would loved to have joined you but I couldn't get away and it's a bit of a drive!
Sometimes the little hopping balls of fur and personality get lost in the shuffle of larger shelters and those shelters don't know how to care for them much of the time! Midwest provides a safe and loving facility for those darling animals who need them!
Thank you ZooToo for the award today and I'm still hoping, praying and crossing anything that can be crossed for MIDWEST RABBIT RESCUE to win the grand prize!!!
p.s. the bunny ears are very handsome on you!

I really wish I could have been there today, but due to a broken leg it was just too hard! Yay Midwest for getting this far!!! They are doing such a great job with such deserving beautiful animals!

I so wish I could have been there to welcome you too! Midwest R&R really is a great place with fantastic volunteers. Although I live several states away I still the effects of Midwest. When the small, home-based rabbit rescue I foster for is struggling with saving rabbits in overcrowded Chicago kill shelters, Midwest does everything they can to find space and transportation to save these rabbits from euthanasia and find forever homes for them. The volunteers will literally go far out of their way to help! They also do a fantastic job at educating the public about proper care of rabbits. So many people buy bunnies on a whim at a pet store without knowing how to care for them. Many of these rabbits are destined for short lives due to improper care, to be surrendered to a kill shelter, set "free" to be preyed on by stray cats and dogs, or they live long, lonely lives in cramped cages with little attention and nothing to play with. For an intelligent, active animal this can be just as bad as death. Midwest does everything it can to help people learn how to take care of their rabbits properly so they are happy and healthy. This makes a huge difference in a lot of bunny lives!

Go Midwest! And thank you so much for giving rabbits the attention they deserve!

Debbie really is the spark that got this thing going, and there are so many other volunteers that have worked so hard along with her to make this happen. Everyone at Midwest Rabbit R&R should be so proud that this little shelter, with such a big heart, has come so far. Imagine what we could accomplish with some more help from the very special Topcat and Zootoo!!! {After spending so much time with the feline and canine population, I think he rather enjoyed getting to meet all of our wonderful bunnies! He seemed to have an extra hop in his step all morning.}
We need so much help, but regardless, Midwest Rabbit Rescue is the most amazing place. Thank you to for helping me to show my daughters what true kindness and altruism look like. There is no better example of these qualities, along with learning about hard work, than what we see every week when we volunteer at the shelter! Everyone in this community should have this incredible experience, at least once.
Thank you Zootoo, for traveling all the way to Plymouth, Michigan, to see what we are doing here. It matters so much to us, you have no idea.
Go Bunnies! Go Bunnies! Midwest is the best! Go Bunnies

I'm delighted to read topcat's blog of his visit to Midwest Rabbit Rescue and Rehome. Angela L. and I are associated with a small private rescue and it tears (rhymes with wears) us up when we have no space to accept (more) rabbits on death Row. What did an innocent bunny do that would label him/her as "disposable, get rid of ..." Off to the euthanization room. That's where Midwest will reach out and save as many as they can ~ to transition to forever homes. To ultimately feel a human's kind touch and caring actions. Thank you Richard and Zootoo for the pictures and visit - and blog report. woo hoo! You open up a Brand New World of improvement, education, hands on with Midwest R R&R, for the wonderful, quiet companions rabbits are! Ever have a bad day? Sit with a rabbit nudging your nose or licking your face & cheeks, ...you'll be unconditionally loved...
