I thought for sure I would take a few days off, eventually I probably will but for now I seem to be drawn to check stuff out, I have more time to read reviews, surf shelters and rescues and catch up on messages and journals.
This has been quiet an experience and I would do it all over again to help our shelter. I hope everyone involved knows that whether they were told so by someone in their group or not that you are appreciated. These animals(dogs, cats, rabbits, horses and small pets) cannot speak up and say how much they thank you but just look in their eyes, when one comes into your shelter next time remember what you got into all this for. Every shelter, Every Rescue, Every foster home and volunteer, YOU make it all happen. Its amazing to have met so many of you here at zootoo and I wish you all well in the future for all your endeavors, so many pets out there need every one of you, and putting our human differences aside for the purpose of helping these pets out is such a wonderful thing.
Anyone who is a volunteer and works together with someone or many someones knows there will be different opinions about every aspect of how a shelter/rescue is run, I hope all of us can learn from each other and continue our efforts for the benefit of all the pets in the world looking for that one forever home.
Again I can't express enough my gratitude and appreciation to each and every one of you and to zootoo, and to Ellen for all you are doing to help us and these pets out.
