I feel that the Humane Society of the Ohio Valley deserves the Shelter Makeover because they are in desperate need of funds and an update. They rely on donations to run the shelter. This shelter works very hard for the animals and keeps them much longer than most places do so that they have the best chance to find a home. We adopted one of our cats, Zodie, from the shelter last year and she has been a wonderful addition to our family. The Humane Society of the Ohio Valley definitely needs a much more modern facility so that they can continue their work in helping homeless animals. They are bursting at the seams with animals most of the time and end up with many litters of kittens and puppies being dropped off. I feel that they really deserve the Shelter Makeover.
