Many people in this community are very devoted to the animal shelter. It is a no kill shelter that runs a small thrift store, has fundraisers and asks for donations in order to keep going. Without these people many animals would be out on the streets where they would suffer or be picked up by Animal Control who euthanizes those not claimed by a certain date. Because of the large number of animals lost or abandoned in this area, the shelter is in great need of more space. They are helping as many of the animals as they can, but with more space, they will be able to help more! Help us help the animals by choosing West Plains Regional Animal Shelter! Their long time devotion and caring make this shelter a logical choice!
