The SPCA has been such a fun place to volunteer. I have learned so much about animals and how to care for them. I am in the Petique, the shelter's store, and I have learned so much about retail. The shelter could do so much more to help more animals if we were to win the makeover prize. It would be wonderful to have more rooms where prospective owners could interact with cats or dogs. We also have a solid humane education department that teaches children to respect and love animals. Think about how many more programs we could offer to the community if we had a bigger shelter! Congratulations to all the 19 other shelters that have made it this far and may the most deserving shelter win.
