What has happened to West Plains Regional Animal Shelter is awful. More than awful. The owners have dedicated there lives to helping animals. Tirelessly, 24/7 work to maintain the small shelter they have to help poor animals who don't have any where else to go but out on the street. These people keep the animals off the street, take them to a vet if they need medical attention and make sure they are spayed and neutured to keep the population down. What thanks have they gotten? All they asked for was a chance at the Million Dollar makeover. A CHANCE!!!! Someone person who apparently hates animals one more time had to make sure that this would not happen. Animals, ALL ANIMALS, are God's creatures. Someone has been appointed to take care of them. In West Plains its The owners of West Plains Regional Animal SHelter. They do everything in there power to give the animals a good home. I know there are alot of supporters supporting them but then they have quite abit of opposition as well. They are ONLY trying to do a good thing. A community service if you will. It is a shame that they have this issue with the lawsuit. But remember the golden rule. "Do unto others as you would have done to you" You can't treat someone wrong and expect to get away with it. You might in the beginning and you might feel real good about your self. But Pride comes before a fall. I believe in a higher power who watches over all of us and sees all. Our greed AND our sorrows. I urge everyone, If you love animals, let the West Plains Regional Animal Shelter know that we care. Encourage them to keep going. Don't let the dream die. God hears all and sees all. Those animals in West Plains need them. They have no one else. Life deals us blows sometimes and we just have to keep going. Dust ourselves off and keep going. If you quit, he wins. My prayers are with them.
