Deserving of a makeover

Here are a few of the many reasons that I think this shelter has earned a makeover:
-a real no-kill policy
-employees assist pet owners in the community as needed, whether the request is something in their job-description or not
-they operate on a very minimal budget...I suspect they operate on less money than some bigger shelters have as EXCESS income per annum
-they provide spay-neuter services to owners from surrounding counties, where the service was discontinued from budgets, even when budgets had excess revenues at year's end!
-they help owners of lost pets to find them....even when it is not their responsibility
It would seem that the spirit of the contest is to provide assistance where it is badly needed. SPCA of Catt. County is certainly not the only group of people doing worthwhile and good work, but I pray that the makeover does not go to any organization that can spend almost a million dollars per
year on fundraising and administrative expenses.
