The people that founded Second Chance really deserve the shelter makeover. They worked so hard through blood,sweat and tears at getting donations, having fundraisers and finally building Second Chance. There are so many great people out there who are willing to donate time and money to help Gods creatures. There are so many stories to be told about all the animals that have come to the shelter. Just when I think that I've heard the worst I could possibly hear about a poor animal and their situation another one comes along. Thank God there are people out there to help. Second Chance has helped me three times with stray cats that I found around my house. Each time they got a health check, got pampered and went to a new home. They are all so knowledgeable, big hearted and helpful. They're always doing something to make it better for the animals and their stay at Second Chance.
I can remember before Second Chance was built some had shelters in their basements. I seen one for myself when I found this beautiful minx cat and I took it to Diane at her home. Whenever I went downstairs I couldn't beleive my eyes. She had cages all set up very clean and tidy with clipboards on each cage telling about the cat and if and what was wrong. Some were quarintined and some were in excellent health. Just waiting to go home. Luckily for the cat Diane knew who she belonged to and she reunited them.
Well now that Second Chance is up and running and helping out animals everyday theres a problem. They need a lot more room to do what they have to do and what they do best. Help Gods creatures. So please help them to help more of all creatures great and small.
