For Angel Acres the makeover is more than having a shelter makeover, its about raising awareness about the need for owner responsibility and breeder responsibility.

As Jo made those harrassing phone calls..."have you zootoo'd today, hey hey hey did you do the zoo today," and my gosh, on and on and on...it was usually followed with...we are doing this for the horses, so MOVE IT!!! I wonder if anyone is taking her calls...lol...

Do you know that Montana's governor is currently pondering passing a horse slaughter bill which would allow the opening of horse slaughter plants back on US soil. THIS IS OUTRAGEOUS!! Every other plant closed...why...because its a horrible, disgusting practice...why would Montana want this?!

This truly sickens me beyond words.

Angel Acres works DAILY to raise awareness and to make this country a better place for horses. I think that Angel Acres truly deserves the makeover, but for them, its more of a pulpit from which to bring a spotlight on horses in this country, than it is to having new and/or working equipment.

They will make sure that the plight of horses from every corner of the nation gets told to the ALL of America.

Angel Acres sure has my vote!
