Angel Acres is the MOST phenomenal resource for a horse rescue that I have ever had the pleasure to deal with.
They have a sctrict code of ethics that is lacking in many, many other rescues out there. From the rescue and "save" of each individual animal they rescue, to the training, vetting, rehabbing of each horse right down to the actual adoption and the support that provide to the adopters....they have done it right. They have heart, and the will to fight for these animals that are abused and sent off to their grisly deaths.
Angel Acres sets the bar higher than most rescues can dream of reaching. They provide education and knowledge as to what REALLY happens to our beautiful horses. They tirelessly work day in and day out...all for the love of the horse.
If you are considering adopting an equine, Angel Acres should be the first rescue to check out....they are the winners as far as I'm concerned and deserve this more than anyone.
