Shelter Makeover

We came to know Little Shelter on 9/11/2001. They played a role in rescue and adoption. They also were there to rescue animals from Hurricane Katrina. They have accepted animals injured, old and unadoptable. My personal experience was with the puppies with cleft palates. Many of my friends contributed to their sugery. The volunteers are amazing people and I am disabled so I give donations once a year. They have done so much with so little. The volunteers educate the public in the importance of spaying and neutering. They will take almost any abandoned kitten, something some of the better known shelters will not do. I think it is time Little Shelter get it's moment in the public spotlight and that it is most deserving of a makeover.
