Honey/Emma Sweater.....
For those of you who knit, here's a quick pattern using double pointed needles to make a sweater like the ones Honey and Emma wear.....it takes me about one weekend to make using Stripes worsted weight yarn....
CO 34 stitches evenly on 3 dp needles....K6 rows of ribbing (1x1 or 2x2).....increase 4 stitches then knit 16 rows...working with 12 stitches (put remainder on holder) knit 10 rows of 1 x 1 ribbing.....now put these 12 stitches on holder...working with remaining stitches work any pattern you want for 10 rows...I have been doing the moss stitch lately....this creates the leg holes...I usually inc 4 stitches every other row until I have a total of 50 stitches...this works well with min pins.....then knit about 16 rows using ALL the stitches including the ones on the holder keeping the ribbing..the ribbing turns into the underside of the sweater.....you can keep going for the length of your dog....if you have a boy dog you will want to start decreasing in the middle of the ribbing, and then don't do circular any more, just go back and forth until you dec the entire ribbing.....then I do a few rows of ribbing again to keep the end from curling.....
Next time I make a sweater I'll take photos to add so that it is more easy to understand.....
This gives you a custom-made seamless dog sweater for your little critter (5-10 pound dog)....
