For CoCo(RIP) Little Lady
I may have told this story before, but it's worth repeating. One of my daughters' two year old Pekingnese, CoCo, became very ill very quickly a few years ago at the age of two. She was given excellent care at Tufts Veterinary School in Grafton MA., but passed away from encephalitis. It was extremely devastating to the entire family. She passed in my arms. Right after CoCo passed away a pure white owl sat on a tree limb right outside their living room window. My daughter was so awe-struck by it that she quietly called every family member over to look at it. They had never seen it before. It took a few minutes to assemble everybody at the window, maybe took five minutes. The family stood in the window and the owl stared at all of them for a few moments. After seeing every single one of them, it flew away. In OUR hearts we believe that it was CoCo saying that she was fine and it was time to leave. It's SO touching that I'm tearing up right now and am having a hard time typing. It was a comfort to them. Last Christmas we bought them an decorative owl for their tree and the photo attached to this journal is an owl for this year. I think that it's perfect and so symbolic. CoCo will be missed forever. RIP little lady. I believe in " signs ".

And I believe she wanted them to be able to let go. She was fine.
They don't want us in grief and pain. Isn't that just amazing?!! It had to of been her!
