I could do it

I fostered a dog that needed a home last summer. My husband just knew that I would not be able to give him up, but I did! I found him the best home ever. He gets to have a dog companion, fenced in yard and a doggie door so that he can go in and out when he wants. Plus sleep with his new momma. He didn't have all of those perks with me, well except for play mates. It felt so good to help him find his forever home :)

Wow it must be quite hard to give up an animal after fostering. Good job!!! I'm happy you found him a good home!

It is wonderful to be a part of such a good thing for an animal in need. My family did temp care for a cat that had been at the shelter for a longtime and simply needed a break. She had started losing hair because of the stress of living in the shelter. It was greatto see her blossom into a loving, relaxed girl and when her hair started growing back...it made it all worthwhile...and kinda hard to give her back.
