Don had come home for about a month after the 3 Nursing/Rehab Homes He was in. Our Florida Room has been transformed into a hospital room so I could care for Don and I done my best to care for him, but Don in now back in the hospital again. This time it does not look good. Don was put on life support once after this last operation but he said NO MORE LIFE SUPPORT. I was called to go back to the hospital soon after returning home to hold Dons hand and talk Him throurgh this rough time 2 days ago. I know Don is goining to pass through Heavens Gates at any time now so I am doing my best to prepare myself for that time as I have been instructed by His Doctors and Nurses. I am having a hard enough time myself but how do I let our kids know. Do I take Zero and Bella to the Funeral Home so they might get some closer also, will they understand? Our Dogs have been to all 3 Nursing/Rehab Homes and when Don was in this last home I brought Him home (viva Wheel Chair) on all the nice days if Don was up to the trip so Don could enjoy being in our yard with His Kids. When Don was home Bella slept with Don on his hospital bed and Zero close by his side at all times. Over this past month I have called the same ambulance service so often they know where We keep our 4 legged kids when Don is coming home from the hospital or leaving to it so they don't run and get in their way during transprot. These are some good people. It is so sweet how when Don is returned home they ask Him if they can let his kids in the room again. Don in this last month has been closer to the people from this ambulance service then He has from His oun family. So the bottom line is how do I LET OUR KIDS KNOW DAD MAY NEVER COME HOME or DO THEY ALREADY KNOW? Bella is sleeping on Dons pillow as I type.
