Saturday Duncan was a sick little puppy, he could barely get up and we had to carry him down the stairs. He didn't have a fever and he ate normally (he picked the chicken out of his food and left the rest), none the less we took him to the vet, who did blood and urine tests which showed he has early kidney disease. Soooo, the first thing is to get him on a low protein diet, being organic, I'll have to cook for him, I don't even cook for myself anymore!
We are also going to try a herbal course of treatment from Five Leaf Pet Pharmacy, if all goes well I'll be reviewing them here.
If anyone has any helpful suggestions, we're all ears.
