Playing at the park

Our town's park has a baseball field that is totally enclosed with fencing and gates, so when it's not being used by people, I take Ozzie there to run off-leash. He chases tennis balls, sniffs people and other dog scents, and runs just for the sake of running. He looks so happy when he runs! It's great exercise and burns off "nervous" energy that builds up after being stuck in the house most of the day. He's always very sleepy afterwards. This is a great "fun" exercise to compliment his daily walks, which are essential to his mental and physical health.
