I've been trying to incorporate T-touch into handling my animals after seeing the demonstration at AHS about a month/month and a half ago. I had used it to some degree when Perdita and I were seeing Janice Patton regularly, but I'd just fallen out of the habit since I wasn't being reminded to do so. Last night Perdy really got a full body T-touch session, and she was moving her body, so I could reach her from pretty much any angle. Her eyes got very soft and relaxed, and she had her mouth open slightly with her tongue protruding while I handled her back and hips (for Perdy this is a very happy, relaxed pose), and when I tried to stop, she flopped onto her back, so I could T-touch her chest and belly. Perdy was very calm and gentle when I finally curled up with her to cuddle instead of being fussy and moving around. Too bad the effects were gone by this morning!
