You know, I think it depends on how bad the fleas & ticks are the the area where you live. If they are just a mild annoyance, "Natural" may be the way to go. However, if you have an infestation or live in any area where fleas and ticks are a big problem, then better to use the tried and true. I live in Florida and fleas are somewhat of a problem, but ticks are not so bad. I like to take my dogs swimming in the Gulf of Mexico a couple of times a week. Fleas don't care for water and they really hate salt water. I do rinse the dogs off with fresh water when we get home from the swims. Salt water is very drying to their skin. Buddy, my Havanese loves to swim, Scooby, my Terrier Mix hates it, as does my Minny-Pinny, Coopie. For Coopie & Scooby, I just hold them and carry them into the water and wet them down. As for Buddy, we are going to need to order his SCUBA DIVING equipment soon. He swims like a fish!!

None of the "natural" products are affective. All of the Dr.'s I've worked with recommend Frontline, or advantage. Fleas are more than just irritating, they can give devistating diseases to our pets and us, not to mention the diseases Ticks spread. These products have been time tested, and are FDA approved for use. Please go with something that works, don't take the chance!!!
