Lucy's Surgery

On November 4th Lucy had to have one of her salivary glands removed. It was quite the surgery. She did have a drain under her jaw too. There was a lot of draining and swelling. I thought the swelling would never come down!! But it has been almost seven weeks and your would never know she had surgery. Her hair has grown back in. But most importantly she has her "attitude" back. This must have been bothering her a long time, but we just notice some swelling back in August. At first we tried rounds of antibiotics, but while appearing to work at first the swelling came back. I am so happy she is feeling better. We tell people that she is our first dog to "get a face lift".
