Once again I have hit one of my least favourite times of the year, Akane's annuals. My feisty little dog is a total pill at the vet's office because we have to maneuver past other clients' pets and the clinic cats to get to the exam room. Then I have to remind the nice techs that Akane snapped at one of them several years ago during a blood draw for her heartworm test, so PLEASE muzzle her even if they choose to take her to the back. I also need to talk to Dr. Brandes about Namir. I think I may stop dragging him into the vet for regular vaccines altogether because of how stressful it is for us. The experience strains our relationship, and he really doesn't make the techs' day any better either. We'll just have to see what Dr. Brandes says. The other option is to buy an oral sedative before bringing Namir into the vet...yeah, I'd rather skip it.
