The other day I went with my cousin to look at some animal shelters to adopt 2 kitties. She ended finding her soul mate kitties at the 1st shelter we'd visited. While meeting with the counselor, she'd asked us if declawing was a choice and my cousin said no. She then said that she was glad we'd said no because in order to declaw a cat you must cut off part of the toe where the nerve is. If that doesn't disgust me enough, what disgusts me even more would be that people know the procedure and what must be done to declaw a cat, and yet they still do it; (some) vets which are supposed to be concerned with the welfare of every animal continue to do this procedure!
Another thing that disgusts me, the Philadelphia Eagles signed a 2 yr. contract with dog fighter and killer, Micheal Vick. He went to jail and 'apologized', but no matter how much talent a person could have, that's murder! Why would you employ such a person?! I think the Eagles need to be boycotted.
