Delilah's Second Visit to the Vet

Today I took Delilah for her second visit to the vet. She behaved fairly well on the way there. It was an adventure and she was happy to be riding in the car, just her and mama. Upon reaching the vet, she began crying. I fed her treats and petted her, but she whined and cried and you would have thought she was going to her death. She weighed 12 pounds which means she has gained her weight exactly in the 3 weeks that I have had her. She only weighed 6 pounds when I got her and took her to the vet the day I got her. Everyone was telling me what a pretty dog she was, and she is quite an attractive little pup. She is just a little over 2 months having been born on March 13. The vet says she is making great progress and is doing well. These are all words a proud mama love to hear! I hope everyone out there realizes the importance of regular vet check ups for their pets.
