When Cleo came to us, she had this ugly little spot on her face with no fur. I kept waiting for the fur to grow in, but it won't. It is obviously a bite wound from another dog.
Last week, Bridget and Cleo were playing a bit rough and Cleo got two additional wounds on her head. One was more like a bruise and the second was a puncture wound. Those are well on their way to being healed, but you can still see the marks.
Yesterday Cleo showed up with yet ANOTHER wound on her head. I don't know where this came from, but I suspect a nail. The construction guys left twisted rusty nails EVERYWHERE and scrap wood with nails sticking out. I spent at least an hour trying to clean all that stuff. How could they just throw nails everywhere and not even clean up! They KNOW a child and two dogs live here.
Cleo's sweet face is just so battered looking! Poor girl!
