Bad news for Charlie Hogan

It seems at though he has Feline Lower Urinary Tract Disease. Not what I wanted to hear today. If anyone knows anything about this disease, or any helpful hints, please send me a message. From what I read he no longer is in the middle of a flare up, but another flare or block can come at anytime.

Thanks! After doing a lot of my own research and talking to others online who have been through this, I am much more optimistic. Charlie seems to be happy and not in pain...so we'll just take it day by day.

We had a cat who had renal failure. My options from the vet were 1) put him on dialysis for the rest of his life or 2) give him two massive shots of saline solution twice every day for the rest of his life. After doing an enormous amount of research, we did a very simple, inexpensive, and effective thing. We limited his diet to only salmon and tuna. He improved immediately and was a perfectly healthy cat with more energy than he had before his diagnosis. Of course, the vet told us that the cat would die before a week had passed, that we were doing the absolute worst thing, etc. But the vet could not have been MORE wrong. Sometimes you just need to take things into your own hands, do your own research, think for yourself, and be open minded.
