1,523! Not a record but exciting!!
We are still proud of that number since it takes a lot longer to hold a pet for a vaccination than to just give a shot to a willing human.
It was pouring out that day but the people waited patiently in the lines to get into the tents. I have to say that I was sooo impressed with how happy people were despite the weather. In this economy, so many people really need this. We only charged $5. and people were so happy to be able to take care of their pets in this economy. What a great turnout by the community! I always love it when the community comes together to help pets!
Although it is not a replacement for regular veterinary care, I was thrilled to see people come out in the weather to make sure their pets get vaccinated. It was a long rainy day but it gave all of us a wonderful feeling at the end of the day to have seen so many pets there!
Thank you to everyone that came out to help or bring their pet!
