Why is it that nothing seems easy any more? Every day, another sad story, another tragedy, another animal that has been discarded by someone. My heart aches on a dailyl basis.

But.....I do find so much comfort in our wonderful staff and our wonderful group of volunteers!! Every time we help save a life, it makes the stress and sadness go away.
