Wow, I can't believe how wonderful this feels. Sebby escaped Wednesday night and after doing some research and reading some helpful posts by my fellow zoo-ers, I read that cats often come out between 1-5 am because they feel it is safe, so I got up at 4 this morning and went looking and sure enough, there was Sebby sitting on a porch, 3 houses down. Unfortunately I scared him under their house when I approached him but I sat around and waited and once the neighbors woke up, I went searching for sebby under their house and when I called his name I couldn't see him anywhere. I turned on a flashlight and looked around a bit and called his name one more time, and then he poked his head out. He was a little scared at first but I kept talking to him. He meowed and then slowly started walking towards me. I was so so relieved and so happy I just started bawling so hard as I carried him home. My world has been upside down for the last 3 days, but now I can finally breathe. I have my best friend back, my little furball, and my sunshine. I'm so happy!!!
