Watching TV

ZOEY

Last night Zoey and I were sitiing in the living room flipping through the channels. I almost always go straight to the animal planet channel, which I did. A dog show was about to start. I love watching the dog shows. At first Zoey was more interested in playing tug-o-war with her mail truck than she was watching tv with me. Once it began and they brought the dogs out for the first round, her ears perked up and she sat next to me and was actually watching the dogs on tv. When the commericals came on, we would play tug-o-war and then watch it when it came back on again. I was amazed that she was interested in the dogs on tv. She watched every little move they made, tilted her head as if she was studying them. It was really neat to watch her, as if she was really interacting with them.

Maybe she's trying to learn what to do if she's ever in competition! Sometimes Karlie will look at the TV screen. I always wonder what she's thinking when she does that.

The othe day the Tv caught Flip's attention.He sat there watching a dragon movie with me.Lots of colors.

Thanks DeeDee. Come to think of it, I have never had a doggie (before Zoey) to really watch the tv either.

It's funny that you should mention this as Pippin does the same thing. She'll even bark back at the T.V. I've never had a pup do this before, BUT I've never watched Animal Planet as much as I have lately! Great journal entry. The responses will be interesting and fun.
