walking in the rain

It is raining today. a nice, steady rain, no downpour. My little dogs don't want to go outside! "I'd much rather pee on the hamper, Ma!" I have to carry them, one by one, outside and then watch them run through (the fenced in) yard to the various doghouses, where they then hide. With 8 of them it gets kind of difficult to see who has done their business and who hasn't. At this point, I pray and cross my fingers. On the way back in, the little dogs hide under the table by the backdoor and sort of tap their little feet! It is a very funny picture. The bigger dogs are much more sensible about all of that. Of course, it would never occur to either of them to pee in the house! Most of my freinds have the same set up - little dogs must think they will shrink even more if exposed to water!
