I just got back from spending a week in St Thomas and was surprised by all the iguana's that were every where. We rented a villa and on our first day we decided to go swimming in the pool we had. When we first went out we saw an iguana and of course everyone ran and got their cameras to take pictures. well, about five minutes later another one came out and then another and so on. We must of saw at least 12 different iguanas that morning!!! They were all over the lawn, in the trees (up high too) even in the bushes!!! It was really neat. As long as we stayed still they would hang out and get within a couple feet of us. If you move or walk toward them they would run off. Which was good because my mom didn't want them any where near her. Ha Ha And chickens were always in public places just walking around. A lot of them would have between 3 and 5 baby chicks following them, too. They were adorable.
