Update on Gabby

Ooops, things have been so crazy, I forgot that I had written a journal entry... Gabby is doing great! With her new baby boy! They are both healthy, he was born April 29th at 11:00pm, we are calling him Boomerang- Boomer for short. He has a white marking on his neck in the shape of a boomerang. He is so cute, but unfortunately he will not be staying with our family. We leave on Sat May 17th to take him and Gabby back to the stable in Georgia where we got Gabby from. They will keep them until Boomer is weaned and then I will pick Gabby up and bring her back home. I will be sad while she is away, but it is the best thing for them, I don't know how to raise a colt, and at 2 weeks old he's already a handful!The good news is that Gabby will be returning home with a new friend- in trade for the baby we will be getting a good child friendly horse.
