The little big dog

We got oscar in the fall of 2006 from a friend of ours. He was the only one that survived that litter. His mom and dad are purebread mini daschunds. HE was so small you could hold him in one hand. We would put him in a shoulder bag and take him everywhere with us. He was quiet then. haha He has a big dog bark so from outside it sounds like a big guard dog. He has some brothers who are cats. He gets along great with Tigger our orange tabby but he fights with our Benni a blue russian. They are so funny playing together, him and tigger. I've never seen a cat and dog play together so well. He has alot of energy and runs and runs and runs. He loves going on walks and showing off. He also likes watching football. Especially the Pittsburgh Steelers. Whenever they are playing I ask him if he wants to go to Pittsburgh and see the steelers and he goes nuts! We live in a big apt. and he has lots of room to run. The only reaslly bad trait he has is he likes to potty everywhere. There are alot of steps so he can't really go outside too much. He can go up but not down. He tried a few times and started to tumble so now he's afraid. We have pee pads for him and he occasionally uses them. He now thinks that he's suppose to go on the toilet like us. So now I've moved his pee pad by the toilet. He's very picky about dog food. The only kind he will eat is the Little Champions pouch food. It has to be the beef and cheese flavored too. He also likes the cat food. His favorite toy is a squeaky. It no longer squeaks though. He chewed the squeaky out. HE loves for you to throw it and then he goes and gets it. He always brings it back to me. If someone else throws it he brings it back to me. He is so cute and so funny. He has brought alot of laughter into our home and I'm glad we decided to get him.
