The heat is back

We had some really pleasant days where it would cool off at night. But, today was much warmer and they aren't predicting much of a cooling overnight. The forecast is for 90 and humid tomorrow, so we will definitely have to turn the air on. For now, we are trying to tough it out with just fans since an open door or window after dark is such a cat favorite. Indoor is pretty smart--he spends time on the marble table, which I am sure feels much cooler.

what a difference a few days make, huh? I feel like it's October today. It's not so cold, just that dreary, drizzly weather.

I hear you on the heat, & the humidity & dew point are right up there too !!! I think that we are getting our summer at the end....
My poor kitties, and dog think they are in a never ending sauna....

It must be so horrible to have to wear fur in this heat! It does seem really late for the summer to be this hot. I don't like winter, but a couple days of snow sound really nice right now.

It is suppose to cool off to normal temps....
I don't like that "S" word you speak of :(
That will be here soon enough, and then we will all be whining for the heat again... LOL

OMC, I can so relate to the heat! The humidity is awful, as well! It was near 90 today with high humidity and tomorrow is going to be even worse. They are saying the humidity will be with us through the better part of next week. UGH! Our air has been on for days! Thank goodness, we have it!

Air conditioning is a wonderful invention!!!! My air wouldn't start this morning and I was thinking about living in the refrigerator. Thankfully, it was just a weird battery thing with the thermostat, so my food doesn't have to share freezer space with me.

Please take your heat back if you are sending it this way. Indoor's markings are kind of the same color as the marble table. I never really liked the table, but I guess it is nicely color coordinated with Indoor. : )

It's hot, hot, hot here as well! 2 more days tippin the 90's then they "say" will cool down a bit. My crew can be found on the table under the ceiling fan or the kitchen floor which is tile. Their way of trying to stay cool!

I often think animals are smarter than I am. It really would be much cooler lounging around on the tile. Instead I sit there on the sofa roasting!

We are having what I consider a heat wave here as well in Watertown New York. Very Hot and Humid and our American Eskimo just hates it as well as I do. I like a nice sunny day that is about 70 and a bit breezy. She loves going for rides in the air conditioning and loves being in the house in front of a fan. She loves it outside in the snow. I don't care for winters any more and hate to see it come but I'm sure she is looking forward to it. Have a great day and try to stay cool.

My friends have a Samoyed that is my favorite dog in the world (he is so sweet) and he is miserable in this weather too. He loves the snow so much too that it almost makes putting up with winter bearable just to watch him play in it.

If it were big enough, I might join him on the table today! But, I don't think we'd both fit.
