I've always made a point of helping things in need, even as a child. What I put my poor mother through! My family now consists of forty cats, all rescues, some special-needs and others, rehabilitated ferals. Don't ever believe they can't be "fixed". Half my household is living proof they can. After all, most didn't start out that way. Most are victims of what I call "disposable pet syndrome". My most hardened case, Wild Thing, now cleeves to me and bumps me with her head,on the mouth for kisses on her forehead. I also have an extended family of fifteen that I feed at our colony every morning at six a.m. I'm working on trapping them so I can get them all vetted, spayed, ect., and hopefully, relocated in patient, loving homes. There's just so many of them and so few of us. Several friends in the outlying areas are doing the same, despite hectic work schedules, etc. To all of us out there, KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!
