Some days you just need a hug
Pooka woke up from her nap yesterday and went right back into her house rip romp. I was trying to clean out a closet and she wanted to help. The problem is that her idea of helping is to crawl in.. on.. through.. over whatever I am trying to do. We get into a little dance. I open the door and drag Pooka out. She wails and runs. I turn back to the project. Pooka runs back in the way. I drag her back out. She wails...repeat...repeat...repeat. I finally finished without Pooka jumping into the newly packed box and/or clawing her way up a jacket onto the top shelf to hide. This made her angry. She stomped around for awhile and tried to pick a fight with Julie. When that didn't work she decided to "play" with Princess Fluzzy. She started out by giving PF's tail a nasty nip and pull. PF screamed and ran for her life. I yelled and Pooka skipped off giggling. She waited for my attention to wander and came back. PF had gone up into the book shelf and was sleeping in the drawer I keep there as a little nap site for the Girls. Pooka snuck up the ramp and tried to jump on the sleeping PF. She landed on 4 angry paws. PF screamed ~again~. Pooka climbed up on the shelf above PF and glared down at her. The stink eye stand off lasted a few seconds. That gave Snoggle the chance to come in to see what the uproar was about. Pooka spotted her and began to thump PF as hard as she could. PF returned fire as fast as she could. Snoggle didn't want to be left out so she started swinging at PF. I walked over and started scolding them. To my amazement they all froze. Snoggle came down the ramp when I asked her to leave. I told Pooka that she needed to leave the room too and she slowly came down and left. I couldn't believe it. I calmly asked them to stop and go away and they did it. I think that they knew that they had made a bad week worse because a couple of hours later they came in for a group hug. PF stayed out of their way
