This morning one of my daughter's horses was down and not feeling well. It always scares me when they are laying down, I know they need to sleep and rest but it still scares me, just incase it is something else I always make the poor things get up and move around. This morning the dogs alerted me that the horse was down. It is not a normal sight for them to be laying down, so the dogs were barking. They were standing right by him barking and barking as to say, "get up Comet". I called him and walked over to him, I even rocked him and shook him but he would not get up. Thats when I began to worry. Ny daughter was already at college taking a test. A quick text message to her as to what she wanted me to do. Finally I got him up, he was alittle gasey and didn't want to walk around. As I stood there talking to him and rubbing him and looking into those big beautiful brown eyes, I was just taken back in awe. His beauty, his strength, I would imagine the power he held inside. I saw the love and trust in his eyes. He knew I was trying to help him. I had my, "Until they are safe" bracelet on, it glistened in the sun, and I wondered, how could anyone with a heart or soul harm one of these creatures? It just didn't make sense. Then I thought of all the people that never have had the chance to touch a horse or to gaze into their eyes, and I realized how very lucky we were to have had the opportunity to behold such an awesome creature. All I could think of was, "Comet, you are such a beauty to behold". By the way, he is fine this evening.

I'm sure you know this, but the horse has the biggest eye of any mammel on the planet. What a door to the sould God has given to us with his majestic horses.
If you don't have a mirror you can check your hair and make up.
I'm glad Cometis s fine.
