I have a neighbor that lives behind my apartment complex. He constantly keeps his doberman tied up and even tho shelter, water and food is provided, no one goes over to play with the poor dog. I noticed a sore on her paw and I still do not see him getting her any vet attention. My fiance has called the police but they do not provide much help. There are not enough volunteers at the animal shelter to help get the pet any help. Any suggestions?

Maybe they could help you - shame on the police for not responding or at least not telling you who might be able to help. Good luck! And that's so nice of you to be looking out for that poor dog's interests - hope he makes his way to a happier home!
