My sweet dog Rex was an Amstaff. He got bone cancer and I had to put him to sleep in January of 2007. He was 13. He was a gentleman and a genius, and super fun. The loss has been great. I hope Rex can be the guardian angel of all of Bobbi's strays. If we win the Million Dollar Makeover, and Bobbi's animals can have a bigger brighter place to live till Bobbi finds them forever homes, that would be miracle. But if we don't win the contest, I just hope Bobbi's strays can one day
enjoy a happy life like the one Rex had.

Making the decision to spare our beloved pets from further pain is never easy and something, even though you know it's the right thing to do, that you can't help but second guess yourself on. Rex was lucky to have such a caring and loving home. I'm sure he's up there watching you as you share your love with animals in need and is smiling.
