Today's the day to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice to their country. Flags at half staff until noon, parades, cemetery visits. My Dad, one who served in the "Big One", made it home safely but has long since passed. Awarded the Bronze Star for heroic achievement in France, he was disharged with the rank of 2nd Lieutenant. A day to remember many dads, moms, brothers and sisters. Thank you all.
